I am doing another clinic if you can make it:

Sales people often hate making cold calls. Some even say “cold calls don’t work anymore”. If you are tired of getting hung up on or told “thanks, but I think we’re okay right now”—even if you just want to improve your calling skills—then this clinic will transform your prospecting. Guests will leave with a new cold-calling system that has proven effectiveness.

Join Marjorie on Monday 12/17 from 11:30am-1:30pm in WIlsonville. This clinic is free with donation to Mid-Valley Mentors. Call 503-975-2007 or email mdudley@sandler.com to reserve your space. Seating is limited. Sorry, no day-of entry. Drinks will be provided; guests may bring a brown bag lunch if desired.

What attendees are saying:
"New ideas, great energy of facilitator, very helpful"
"Very informative"
"I liked the interaction and the ability to ask questions along the way"

We're having a Christmas Party for the Tuesday CBW group, December 21, at the YWCA. It's a potluck! So if your last name begins with A-L, bring a main dish - M-Z, bring a salad or dessert. There will be no speaker, so we get to have the whole time to talk (network!), and eat. Also, we are bringing supplies or toy items for the shelter. Contact Wendy Laudette, Donna Mills, or myself for a list of ideas of what to bring. Hope to see you there!

Yes, it's that time again! Join all 3 groups at the Phoenix Inn & Suites North, from 4-5:30pm for networking and fun. Grand Vines is catering chocolate (and non-chocolate) hors d’oeuvres and offering no-host wine tasting and wine bar. Please contact Tina Hernandez, 503-363-6560, if you would like to promote your business with a door prize. $12/person, registration required: online at salemchamber.org. Questions: call Chandra Andersen, 503-581-1466 x309.

At today's networking meeting Janet from the Marion-Polk Food Share explained what this organization does, their purpose, their vision and how anyone can get involved. It was so informative! I think everyone in the room learned something. It was also encouraging to see the spirit of help and generocity in our city and beyond! A big thanks to Janet for sharing!!

Chefs for Kids benefit auction for Liberty House is happening April 18th -- if you've thought about going but haven't yet signed up, it's not too late! Fun event, great food, and plenty of folks you know -- both as guests and volunteers. Info and reservations are on their website: http://www.libertyhousecenter.org/events.php?spid=1
