Nels T. Johnson, a founding partner of Johnson, Glaze & Co., P.C. in Salem, passed away on March 19th. Nels’ commitment to providing excellent Certified Public Accounting services endures in the firm he helped create.

Mr. Johnson served in the military and was more recently involved in the Lions Club, the Sons of Norway Lodge and the Silverton High School Breakfast Group. Though he retired in 1985 he continued to influence the direction of Johnson, Glaze & Co. through his founding principles of honor and service.

The firm will continue to be led by Senior Partner, Larry Glaze, CPA, CFP® who launched the company with Nels in 1980. Nels’ sense of humor and dedication to the community and Johnson, Glaze & Co., P.C. will be missed.
