Friendship Program participants needed!

Barby at Tokyo International University of America (TIUA) coordinates our Tomodachi "friendship" program. This program is for people who would like to share American culture and learn about Japanese culture. You are be matched with a student and get together with them once per month (minimum). You can do pretty much anything to share American culture with them -- celebrate holidays/birthdays, go shopping or sightseeing, share a meal, go to your kids' activities. The students are in college, usually 19 or 20 years old and their English level varies. But, they want to improve their English and experience as much as they can in their short eleven-month stay!

See photos below for some program fun!

To find out more, e-mail Barby at bdressle@willamette.edu or go to our website at http://www.tiua.edu/community/tomodachi.shtml.
