Oregon Symphony Association in Salem Offers Young Pros Special
It was just a few short years ago that record producers struggled selling many of their classical music recordings, but in the advent of downloadable music, classical music sales have been on the rise. Whether it is the background music of the
cartoons they grew up on, the emotion rendering soundtrack to their favorite
movies or the ease of downloads for their mp3 player, classical music is making
a comeback among today’s 20 to 40-somethings.

I recently gave a presentation at a city council meeting about ArtSmart and realized as I was leaving that while I have written many articles over the last couple of years
about the wonderful arts, history and cultural groups we have in our area, I
