Located in downtown Salem’s Riverfront Park, A.C. Gilbert’s Discovery Village abounds with interactive exhibits in the sciences, arts and humanities. Serving over 80,000 visitors a year at the museum and an additional 20,000 students through off-site educational programming, the children's museum is a cultural resource for the community and for families who want to play and learn together.

Named after A.C. Gilbert, Salem's famous inventor of the Erector Set and other toys, the museum perpetuates Gilbert's personal philosophy that "playing is essential to learning." Open 361 days a year, the museum features three historic houses and a 20,000-square-foot Outdoor Discovery Center. The Village's mission is to provoke curiosity, inspire awe, foster enjoyment, encourage learning, and enable understanding in all youth.

I thought for a bit I might lose my voice after speed networking, but it seems to be re-adjusting just fine. :) Great to meet you again today. We should continue our discussion about partnerships....

"Why drive I-5" was a gift of the universe, it just popped into my head about two people before me last week.
