VPR is again collecting items for the House of Zion Emergency Shelter Christmas Party for homeless and migrant families.  New or gently used  coats and blankets and new, unwrapped gifts and toys will be accepted at the VPR office at 3340 Commercial ST SE,  now until December 10.  House of Zion Emergency Shelter in Woodburn has been helping and serving the poor, homeless families, migrant workers and battered women and children by providing on site meals, food boxes, clothing, blankets and job training.  The shelter will distribute gifts to up 1000 people at their event on December 15 to pre-registered guests.
